Kitchen Apocalypse 2012

Our kitchen has, well,  undergone some "changes" recently. Upon seeing the new kitchen, the lack of familiarity may be startling to some, unwholesome to others, and downright obscene to a few less prepared souls.  In order to prevent any vomiting or other mass hysteria,  we have compiled a brief video to act as a guide for folks who may need to understand how such a change takes place.

We did all of the work ourselves, from installing all new appliances, Hardwood cabinets, custom concrete countertops (not shown in this video, those are for later), new flooring, new walk-in pantry, new lighting (we had one all-or-nothing light switch,  now we have 4 separate options), new window, new sink and faucet; and the kicker is, it all cost less than $5000.

  2. Well, I have found the whole process simply amazing. You are special people, I hope you four realise that - yes?

You: love God, love your neighbor, love yourself and love what you do. Now, now, I didn't say perfect, just special (I already said amazing).

So here is what you're not, except when you were, and that's ok, cuz you didn't stay that way for long, because if you had, well read on:

Tale of four people. Once there were four people named Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody. Whenever there was an important job to be done, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did.

When Nobody did it, Everybody got angry because it was Everybody's job. Everybody was certain that Somebody would do it, but Nobody realized that Nobody would do it.

Consequently, Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done in the first place.

Now if Everybody just helped Somebody show Anybody what Nobody wanted to do, they wouldn't be four people anymore, they'd be One Body.

Keep up the good work, in every sense of that expression.

    Cheers (Uncle) Thom

Oh and Uncle Thom ... good use of indefinite pronouns. Ha! I didn't even know what the hell those things were a few months ago.
